On this very day, the King Khan celebrates 23 years of his acting career in Bollywood. With trending hashtag on twitter, #23GoldenYearsOfSRK, SRK fans are wishing the actor to
mark his achievement.

On this very memorable day, Shah Rukh Khan’s Bollywood debut film Deewana was released on June 25, 1992 and that’s how his career in Bollywood started.

Beginning of acting Career: Taking a glimpse of his wonderful career, Shah Rukh Khan started his acting career in the extremely popular television serial Fauji in 1988. After his
television debut the actor was seen in many other television serials like Circus and others.

Memorable Bollywood debut in Deewana: Later in 1991, now the top actor of Bollywood changed his decision as he decided to work in the films. His career kick started with his
Bollywood debut Deewana in 1992 and later jumped on two Box office hits like Darr and Baazigar. The most appreciated roles in two Box Office hits marked the success of his
career. Also Darr marked the first collaboration of many with ‘Yash Raj Films’.

Always ready to take risks and spread his wings, when SRK was offered YRF’s ‘Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge’, already rejected by Hollywood superstar Tom Cruise and Bollywood
star Saif Ali Khan, he accepted the challenge of transforming from a murderer to an absolute lover onscreen.

The roles in this phase of his career, and the series of romantic comedies and family dramas that followed, earned Shah Rukh widespread adulation from audiences, particularly
teenagers. Yash Chopra, Aditya Chopra, and Karan Johar, moulded his image and made him into a superstar. And he became a romantic leading man without ever kissing any of his
co-stars, although he broke this rule in 2012 for the movie ‘Jab Tak Hai Jaa’, after strong urging by Yash Chopra.

King Khan proved that he rules the cyber space too along with people’s hearts. On winning this award SRK said, “There are so many people around the world who have given me
love and support for many many years. Earlier, letters and cards used to be the only way of communicating and thanking them. Now social media has made life easier. I can be
closer to all my fans – thank them, hear them out and chat with them. Thank you Bollywood Life and the team for this award. But truly this award goes to all the people around
the world who love me and support me unconditionally.”
